The images from the sequel to the 2015 film Jurassic World, and the fifth installment in the Jurassic Park film series, show Pratt’s Owen Grady and Howard’s Claire Dearing emerging from the strong current of the sea in a state of exhaustion before collapsing on a beach – possible after a battle with a sea-based monster? There have been whispers that a submarine battle could feature in the forthcoming production so it’s looking highly likely these images could tie in nicely with that plot line.

Yesterday J.A. Bayona tweeted out a GIF of Pratt getting his groove on, confirming that filming has now finished on the follow-up, saying: “This is a wrap for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom! What a journey! Thank you to everyone that made it possible.”

Fallen World writer, Colin Trevorrow, also hinted at what we can expect from the production and Bayona’s vision for the movie;

“It will be more suspenseful and scary. It’s just the way it’s designed – it’s the way the story plays out. I knew I wanted Bayona to direct it long before anyone ever heard that was a possibility, so the whole thing was just built around his skill set.”

Derek Connolly and Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow both return as writers with Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and B. D. Wong will reprise their roles from the previous movie, along with newcomers Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin and James Cromwell; additionally, Jeff Goldblum will reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm from the original film and its 1997 sequel.
