The next Star Wars spin-off project, the as-yet-untitled Han Solo film, has certainly had a bit of a bumpy ride recently. The project recently saw the shock departure of directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller,  followed by the news that Ron Howard had taken the helm to finish off the film. So far we’ve seen very little from the film, however today a couple of set photos have shown up on TMZ.

The photos (and one video which can be seen below) show Woody Harrelson’s character Beckett coming face to face with the young Han Solo played by Alden Ehrenreich, a female character who can’t be deciphered clearly but could be Emilia Clarke’s top secret outing in the project. We also get a glimpse of the furry Chewbacca all set in, in what looks like, a space station command centre. Possibly an Imperial one.

Han SoloEmilia Clarke has so far been tight-lipped about her character in the upcoming spin-off but it had been rumoured that Clarke would be playing a character named Val but no confirmation has come through as yet. On an interview with Rolling Stone about her career, all Clarke could say was that her character would be awesome.

“All I can say is that she’s awesome. Like, legit, that’s all I can actually get away with saying. There’s a stormtrooper with a gun, and he’s going to come walking in any second.”

Woody Harrelson was the only actor able to confirm he would be playing Han’s, Mentor.
