Fans of The Wicker Manwhich, famously, was once dubbed ‘The Citizen Kane of horror movies’, may know a little about the mysterious circumstances surrounding the film’s original release, and of the films many different versions that have been floating around causing confusion for the last four decades. We caught up with director Robin Hardy to clear up exactly which is his preferred version, to chat paganism and politics, and to find out what’s next for The Wicker Man Trilogy.

The Wicker Man is being re-released nationwide, on September 27.
