Felicity Jones is one of Britain’s shining lights, consistently turning in wonderful performances, in often strong, female leading roles. Her latest – and arguably, career best, comes in James Marsh’s The Theory of Everything, and we had the pleasure of sitting down with the talented actress to discuss the project.

She plays Jane Hawking – wife to famous physicist Stephen Hawking (Eddie Redmayne), and we asked about the daunting task of playing somebody who is still alive, somebody she had met. She tells us how preparing for this role was like being a detective, and what it was about this unique screenplay she admired.

The Theory of Everything is released on January 1st.
