With Alden Ehrenreich confirmed to play Han Solo in the iconic Star Wars character’s upcoming spinoff, it appears as if directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are beginning to assemble the rest of the cast. We already know that they’re on the hunt for a young Lando Calrissian, but Mashable reporter Jeff Sneider has shed some light on the female lead.

Apparently, the search for that character is down to four women, ‘none of whom are white’.

Keeping that in mind, it’s entirely possibly that they’re looking to cast Sana Solo/Sana Starros, and she hails from the in canon Star Wars comic book series from Marvel. Sana “married” Han as part of their cover for a heist they pulled off but took the vows a little too seriously and later tracked down Han (and Leia) following the events of A New Hope.

That’s purely speculation for now, but it makes sense. In other Han Solo news though, one report doing the rounds claims that Community and Spider-Man: Homecoming star Donald Glover is Disney and Lucasfilm’s top choice to play Lando in the spinoff. He would definitely be a good fit, but who knows if he’s interested or will have the time to say yes to the role!

With shooting set to begin on Han Solo next year, we’ll hopefully hear more on this soon.
