At Comic-Con, Paramount Pictures unveiled the first teaser poster for Jackass 3D, the the first 3D film in the popular stunt-comedy series, Jackass. The film was directed by Jeff Tremaine, who was responsible for the first two instalments, and features the original cast of Johnny Knoxville, Preston Lacy, Steve-O and Bam Margera.

Synopsis: The Jackass pranksters are at it again in this third outing, presented for the first time in 3D — an effect that will no doubt redefine the use of the in-your-face technology.

A panel was present at Comic-Con last night, where they displayed some footage from the film, which, like normal, shows them trying to kill themselves in weird and wonderful ways. Johnny Knoxville promised the third instalment would take their stunts to wicked new heights with the inclusion of 3D technology. He said, “We’re taking stupid to a whole new dimension.”

It certainly looks fun, if nothing else.

Jackass 3D will be released on October 15, 2010 in the US. A UK release date is likely to be confirmed shortly.
