The image above was sent out by Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow, along with the word “Wrap”. This was done to celebrate the end of production on the movie, and the image appears to be of a fossilized T-Rex, arguably the dinosaur which has proven to be one of the most iconic staples of this franchise.

Based on what we’ve heard so far about Jurassic World, it’s shaping up to be one of 2015?s best movies, and Colin Trevorrow is a promising young filmmaker who looks set to follow up some great lower budget Indies with a blockbuster that stands head and shoulders above the likes of the latest Transformers movie.

With any luck, we should get a trailer at some point this year, as well as a first look at some of the movie’s dinosaurs in action. Of course, Guardians of the Galaxy proved itself a huge hit this weekend by earning $181 million worldwide, and Jurassic World looks set to be the next big franchise for star Chris Pratt

Starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus and Andy Buckley, Jurassic World is set to be released in 3D, 2D and IMAX on June 12th, 2015. Are you looking forward to the movie?
