Well, someone just landed themselves in hot water! This past weekend, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige made it clear that the title for the Avengers: Infinity War sequel hasn’t been revealed because it could be considered a spoiler for what’s coming there.

Talking at the European premiere for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 this evening, Zoe Saldana seemingly lets the cat out of the bag when she referred to Avengers 4 as Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet. Is that a spoiler? Sort of, but it’s a title many fans have already predicted would be used as it shares its name with the event story which is inspiring these movies and partly revolves around Thanos hunting down the Stones.

What this title does point to is Avengers: Infinity War focusing on that latter point, with Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet most likely delving into what happens when he gets it.

Whether or not Marvel will now make the title official or choose to ignore this remains to be seen, though it’s feasible that Infinity Gauntlet is just a working title for the time being.

Either way, these two movies are extremely exciting and we won’t have too long to find out what the fourth instalment is going to be called as the first comes next May, while the second follows in 2019. As a result, Marvel will have to shed some light on the title soon!
