Deadline is reporting that Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese will write the script for a feature which Disney has purchased – an adaptation of a graphic novel called Cowboy Ninja Viking.

The intriguingly monikered one is the creation of one Dr. Sebastian Ghislain, a psychotherapist who recruits Multiple Personality Disorder patients to produce a unit of counter-intelligence agents called Triplets. When a number of these trained assassins get out of control, the deadliest of them all, Cowboy Ninja Viking, is called in to track down and destroy his own kind.

Wernick & Rheese are currently in high demand, having recently finished the script for X-Men spin-off character Deadpool – as played by Ryan Reynolds in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
