Warner Bros has released the gripping new trailer for ‘Wuthering Heights,’ giving audiences their first look at Emerald Fennell’s bold and original imagining of one of literature’s most enduring and explosive love stories.
Set to arrive in UK cinemas on 13th February 2026, this feverish adaptation promises a visceral, intoxicating experience that reimagines Emily Brontë’s classic for a new generation.
Front and centre are Margot Robbie as the fierce, untameable Cathy and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, the enigmatic outsider whose all-consuming bond with Cathy spirals from romantic to obsessive. The trailer pulses with imagery of windswept moors, smouldering glances and a forbidden passion that curdles into something far darker. What begins as youthful longing soon escalates into an epic tale of lust, love and madness, captured with Fennell’s signature provocative style.
The film features a powerhouse supporting cast, including Oscar nominee Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, BAFTA winner Martin Clunes, and Ewan Mitchell, each glimpsed in the trailer as tensions rise and emotional devastation looms. Fennell — directing from her own screenplay — brings a sharp, modern psychological edge to Brontë’s stormy narrative.
