To celebrate its world premiere at the 26th Raindance Film Festival actress and producer Amanda Seyfried (Mammi Mia) graced the red carpet for her new short film Holy Moses, a dark comedy about miracles and who they belong to. She was joined by writer/director Eli Powers, Aidan Sheldon (Director of Photography) and Thaddeus Bouska (Producer).

The film also stars The Newsroom’s Thomas Sadoski, John Gowans, Dan Bakkedahl and Philip Ettinger. In these red carpet interviews the actress and production team talk about the film’s origins, getting the film made and shooting across the United States. Powers also talks about expanding on the short for a possible feature film. Seyfried also talks about her new film, You Should Have Left, in which she stars with Kevin Bacon.

PLOT:

Amanda Seyfried stars in and produces this mysterious short film. In 1963 a cow goes missing from an Irish Magdalene Asylum only to reappear 25 years later at a gas station in Texas. The attendant calls the sheriff, the sheriff calls the doctor, and together the three discover a strange mystery in the middle of an American nowhere.
