On 29th September, the UK’s first ‘Hoff-toberfest’ gathering will take place in London; capitalising on the UK and Germany’s love of David Hasselhoff (aka The Hoff), and the release of his new film, Killing Hasselhoff. Taking place at Bavarian Beerhouse in Old Street, London, Hoff-toberfest will see fans of David Hasselhoff travel to the venue for a night of traditional Oktoberfest celebrations with a Hoff twist. we’ve been given a pair of tickets to give away to 1 winner.

Like The Hoff himself Oktoberfest is a German tradition, which first took place in Munich in 1810 and is the world’s largest Volksfest (beer festival and travelling funfair). The tradition has been celebrated ever since, and this latest adaptation on the German classic promises to capture the carefree spirit of the original, whilst celebrating Germany’s favourite non-German.

Hoff-toberfest will include a traditional OompahPah German band, flown in especially from Bavaria for the occasion, playing a selection of The Hoff’s classic hits such as the iconic Looking For Freedom, which he famously performed in Berlin on New Year’s Eve in 1989 after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Revellers can also look forward to an exclusive look at clips from his new film, comedy Killing Hasselhoff, which will play on the evening; whilst being treated to a Hoff-themed menu and, of course, steins of ice-cold German beer.
