Following the original, BAFTA-winning ‘The Hollow Crown’ series in 2012, The Hollow Crown: The War of the Roses returns featuring a stellar on-screen ensemble cast that includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Judi Dench and Keeley Hawes. Directed by Dominic Cooke (former artistic director of the Royal Court), this four- part series focuses on Shakespeare’s history plays; Henry VI (in three parts) and Richard III.
