Season 1 of Hacks received 15 nominations and won three Emmys, Season 2 topped that with 17 nods, winning another three. In addition to Outstanding Drama Series, Season 2 was nominated for directing, writing, cinematography, casting and five different guest actors, including four out of six in the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series category. Einbinder was nominated for Outstanding supporting actress for a second year in a row and Smart won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for the second year running.Guest appearances include Laurie Metcalf (Roseanne), Ming-Na Wen (Mulan), Susie Essman (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Devon Sawa (Stan in Eminem’s music video for Stan), Harriet Sansom Harris (Frasier) and Wayne Newton (Las Vegas).
