Black Bear has unveiled the chilling teaser trailer for ‘Wife & Dog‘, the new thriller from writer and director Guy Ritchie, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rosamund Pike and Anthony Hopkins.
Set against the colourful and cut-throat world of the British aristocracy, ‘Wife & Dog‘ follows the Fairbank family, whose relentless pursuit of succession sparks a dangerous chain of betrayal and murder.
Joining Cumberbatch, Pike and Hopkins in the all-star ensemble are Cosmo Jarvis, James Norton and Paddy Considine.
‘Wife & Dog‘ marks Ritchie’s return to UK cinemas following the huge success of ‘The Gentlemen’ on Netflix and Paramount+’s ‘MobLand’. It is his first UK cinema release since 2019’s ‘The Gentlemen,’ bringing the filmmaker’s distinctive blend of crime, dark humour and larger-than-life characters back to the big screen.
Ritchie writes and directs the film, with Ivan Atkinson and John Friedberg joining him as producers.
