Netflix is expanding the eerie halls of Nevermore Academy once again, with a trio of new additions set to shake up season 3 of its smash-hit series ‘Wednesday.’ Lena Headey (Game of Thrones, The Abandons), Andrew McCarthy (St. Elmo’s Fire, Brats), and James Lance (Ted Lasso) are all confirmed to appear in the upcoming season.
The newly announced trio join a growing list of fresh faces entering the gothic universe, including Eva Green, who will take on the deliciously intriguing role of Morticia’s sister, alongside Winona Ryder in an undisclosed role. Additional newcomers include Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer.
At the centre of the chaos, Jenna Ortega returns as the razor-sharp and unflinchingly macabre Wednesday Addams. Viewers last saw her riding off with Uncle Fester, played by Fred Armisen, on a mission to rescue her brightly beaming roommate Enid Sinclair, portrayed by Emma Myers, after her transformation into an alpha werewolf took a perilous turn.

The series is based on the iconic characters created by Charles Addams, whose ink-drenched imagination continues to ripple across generations.
Behind the scenes, ‘Wednesday’ remains in the hands of its original architects, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, who serve as creators, showrunners, and executive producers. Visionary filmmaker Tim Burton returns as director and executive producer, ensuring the series retains its signature blend of gothic whimsy and deadpan bite. The show is produced by MGM Television.
