Sky has released the full trailer for ‘War,’ the new Sky Original legal drama from creator George Kay, the writer behind ‘Lupin’ and ‘Hijack.’ Starring Dominic West and Sienna Miller, the series takes viewers inside the ruthless world of two of London’s most prestigious rival law firms.
Set against the high-stakes legal battle surrounding a very public divorce, ‘War’ follows the lawyers of Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne as they stop at nothing to secure victory for their clients. As ambition, loyalty and reputation collide, the series promises a gripping battle where winning comes at a price.
The first series centres on the explosive divorce of British tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson (West) and international film star Carla Duval (Miller). Their split quickly becomes a headline-grabbing legal spectacle, with both firms fighting to come out on top.
At the heart of the drama is ambitious young lawyer Jonathan “Johnny” Warren, played by Archie Renaux (Alien: Romulus, Upgraded), who finds himself drawn into a ruthless professional world where ambition is currency, betrayal is strategy and winning is everything.
On the Taylor & Byrne side are Phoebe Fox as Serena Byrne and James McArdle as Nicholas Taylor, partners in both life and business. Their rivals at Cathcarts & Sons are Nina Sosanya as Beatrice “Queen Bea” Ubosi and Pip Torrens as St John Smallwood.
The ensemble cast also features Celia Imrie, Nick Mohammed, Emma Laird, Aran Murphy, Archie Panjabi, Adrian Scarborough, Shaheen Jafargholi, Akiya Henry, Honor Swinton Byrne, Miles Jupp, Kartanya Maynard, Alexandra Mardell, Dylan Edwards, Mark Quartley and Steve Furst.
