Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,’ with Daniel Craig reprising his role as master detective Benoit Blanc in what promises to be his most perilous and enigmatic investigation so far.

The third instalment in Rian Johnson’s acclaimed murder mystery saga shifts the action to a devout small-town parish, where young priest Jud Duplenticy (Josh O’Connor) is dispatched to assist fiery Monsignor Jefferson Wicks (Josh Brolin). But beneath the sanctity of the church walls, secrets fester.

Wicks’s tight-knit congregation forms the heart of Johnson’s latest puzzle-box mystery: Martha Delacroix (Glenn Close), a devout churchgoer with unshakable faith; Samson Holt (Thomas Haden Church), the watchful groundskeeper; Vera Draven, Esq. (Kerry Washington), a sharp-minded lawyer; Cy Draven (Daryl McCormack), an ambitious politician on the rise; Dr. Nat Sharp (Jeremy Renner), the town’s trusted physician; Lee Ross (Andrew Scott), a best-selling author; and Simone Vivane (Cailee Spaeny), a gifted concert cellist.

When an impossible murder shatters the parish community, suspicion spreads like wildfire. With no clear culprit, local police chief Geraldine Scott (Mila Kunis) turns to Blanc, whose sharp eye and Southern drawl may be the only things standing between truth and chaos.
