True Brit Entertainment has unveiled the chilling first teaser trailer for ‘Victorian Psycho,’ the upcoming gothic horror thriller based on the acclaimed novel by Virginia Feito.
The teaser introduces audiences to Winifred, played by Maika Monroe, an eccentric governess who arrives at a remote manor in Victorian England carrying more than a mysterious past. Beneath her unnerving charm lurks something monstrous.
As strange and increasingly violent incidents begin haunting the isolated estate, Winifred spirals further into madness, leaving terror in her wake.
The official synopsis reads:
When eccentric governess Winifred arrives at a remote gothic manor in Victorian England, her unnerving charm hides a deadly secret. Strange, unsettling incidents become harder to ignore as Winifred descends into madness, and her increasingly brutal acts shatter the calm of the estate. How far will this psycho killer go, and who will survive her wrath?
Directed by Zachary Wigon, Alongside Monroe, ‘Victorian Psycho’ boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring Jason Isaacs, Ruth Wilson, Thomasin McKenzie, Jacobi Jupe and Evie Templeton.
