Prime Video has unveiled the first look images for its upcoming four-part mystery thriller ‘Vanished,’ setting the stage for a stylish, suspense-soaked disappearance that stretches from Paris to the sunlit south of France.
What begins as a romantic getaway quickly unravels into something far more sinister. ‘Vanished’ follows Alice, played by Kaley Cuoco, whose trip to Paris takes a chilling turn when her boyfriend Tom (portrayed by Sam Claflin) mysteriously disappears while travelling on a train to the south of France. No goodbye. No trace. Just absence.
As Alice searches for answers, the cracks in her relationship widen, revealing unsettling truths about the man she thought she knew. Her journey pulls her into a labyrinth of secrets, danger, and deception, where every discovery raises new questions and trust becomes a fragile currency.
International Cast and Creative Team
Joining Cuoco and Claflin is a strong international ensemble, including Karin Viard (Polisse, The Bélier Family), Matthias Schweighöfer (Oppenheimer, Army of the Dead), Simon Abkarian (Casino Royale, To Take a Wife), and Dar Zuzovsky (The Saints, The Survivor).
‘Vanished’ was filmed on location in Paris and Marseille, using the contrasting rhythms of the cities to heighten the tension. The series is created by David Hilton and Preston Thompson, with Thompson also serving as writer. Direction comes from Barnaby Thompson, known for ‘Pixie,’ ‘St Trinians’ 1 & 2, and’ Mad About The Boy: The Noel Coward Story.’
