Oh yes, THR bring us the word from Cannes that Foresight Unlimited are looking to answer the clarion call for another Universal Soldier film, and number four is coming our way.
They’ve also persuaded Jean Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren to return to the fold for the fourth film, they last starred together in this series in the third film Universal Soldier: Regeneration.
Here’s what THR had to say,
“Soldier IV” will reunite Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren, who co-starred in the third installment, “Universal Soldier: Regeneration” in 2009. Only this time they’ll be unleashing their barrages of fists and lead in 3D. John Hyams is also returning to direct the project, which is set to begin filming in October.
Barrage of fists and lead? Surely that’s exactly what 3D was invented for. Excited? Anyone?
