Sky has unveiled a new trailer for ‘Under Salt Marsh,’ a brooding new Sky Original crime drama that promises secrets, storms, and a community on the brink. Starring Kelly Reilly (Yellowstone, Pride & Prejudice) and Rafe Spall (Trying, Life of Pi), the six-part series is set in the fictional Welsh coastal town of Morfa Halen, where the past refuses to stay buried.
Created, written, and directed by Claire Oakley (Make Up), Under Salt Marsh opens with a once-in-a-generation storm rolling in from the sea, darkening skies and stirring old wounds. Former detective turned teacher Jackie Ellis (Reilly) makes a shocking discovery that rips open a three-year-old cold case, one that cost her both her career and the trust of her family.
Pulled back into a world she tried to leave behind, Jackie is forced to reunite with her estranged former police partner, Detective Eric Bull (Spall). As the storm closes in, so does the truth. Their renewed investigation threatens to shake Morfa Halen to its core, exposing a town haunted by secrets, silences, and shared grief. With time running out and the incoming weather threatening to wash away crucial evidence, Jackie and Eric must confront the past before it disappears forever.
Additional cast members include Mark Stanley (Happy Valley, The Reckoning), Dino Fetscher (Fool Me Once, Foundation), Lizzie Annis (The Witcher: Blood Origin, Extraordinary), Rhodri Meilir (Pren Ar y Bryn, Craith), and Julian Lewis Jones (House of the Dragon, The Wheel of Time).
