Due out in a month’s time, DreamWorks are on the cusp of releasing what promises to be one of the best animated films of the year.

Rise of the Guardians features an excellent voice cast, a great premise, and what looks to be some strong animation – everything a great animated film needs – and now a new UK poster has landed online.

“RISE OF THE GUARDIANS is an epic and magical adventure that tells the story of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman, and Jack Frost – legendary characters with previously unknown extraordinary abilities. When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children everywhere.”

Hugh Jackman, Chris Pine, Jude Law, Isla Fisher, Alec Baldwin, and Dakota Goyo lead the voice cast, with Peter Ramsey (head of story on Monsters vs. Aliens) making his feature directorial debut, from a script by David Lindsay-Abaire (Robots, Rabbit Hole), adapting William Joyce’s popular book, The Guardians of Children.

Rise of the Guardians will be released in 3D in the US on 21st November, followed by a 30th November release here in the UK. Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph will be arriving just before at the start of November in the US, and it will be interesting to see how audiences receive them both in the weeks to come. For now, here’s the new UK quad poster for Rise of the Guardians, which you can click to enlarge.
