All the main chains in the UK including Cineworld, Vue, Empire and Odeon cinemas will be showing the games in 3d as FIFA will be filming the final 25 games using the new technology. The price of tickets seems to be around the same price as a standard 3d ticket (around £12).
Supervision Media are the guys organising the showings in the UK in something which I think is a great test of the technology. The sad news is that although Sky have 3d TV now available, the BBC and ITV who own the rights to the World Cup in the UK don’t have the technology so you won’t be able to watch it at home.
You can find out more on the SuperVision website.
