Since we saw it in Sundance, where we gave it a rave review, we’ve been eagerly anticipating the film’s UK release and tomorrow it is that day. Nicole Kidman and Mia Wasikowska lead the film as a recently bereaved wife and daughter and into whose life the mysterious Uncle Charlie, a steely and suave Matthew Goode, enters.
As you would expect from the director it is a beautiful film, emotionally compelling with an engaging family dynamic. In other words, see it. As soon as possible.
