It’s probably a little bit unhealthy ha how much I (a 33 year old bloke) and looking forward to the LEGO movie but I’ve grown up with the stuff and invested hours and hours into those wonderful plastic bricks! Also, did you see the first couple of trailers? It looks amazing! I’d also like to make it clear that my newborn son has the name Emet for other reasons not connected to this movie!
The voice cast is rather impressive and includes Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Will Arnett, Elizabeth Banks, Nick Offerman and Alison Brie. It’s directed by Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Chris McKay.
The LEGO Movie follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. Emmet (Chris Pratt) is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which he is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.
Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Will Arnett, Elizabeth Banks, Nick Offerman and Alison Brie join Chris Pratt to form the cast of the first-ever full length theatrical LEGO movie, the greatest movie ever assembled, which is set to hit cinemas in 14th February 2014.
