Studio Soho have launched the trailer for their upcoming feature documentary ‘Twiggy,’ to be released in UK & Irish cinemas on March 7th.
Featuring contributions from Dustin Hoffman, Paul McCartney, Brooke Shields, Joanna Lumley and many more, the doc is an exploration of the model’s upbringing, career, relationships and everything else that has made her the woman she is today.
In 1966, a young Lesley Hornby became the face of an era. Changing her name to Twiggy, she turned the modelling world upside down with her unique androgynous style and famed large eyes, becoming a defining figure of the swinging 60s London. Out of this success, she built a multifaceted career. Director Sadie Frost charts Twiggy’s rise and her continued success in this fascinating documentary portrait.
Directed by Frost, following her hugely successful debut feature on fashion designer Mary Quant. Produced by Nick Hamson and Simon Jones, through Film Soho’s production arm Soho Talent, this documentary will be the first time Twiggy has ever told her story first-hand.
