To kick off the start of production of the next instalment of the ‘Transformers’ franchise Paramount Pictures has announced the official title will be ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’.

Returning to the action and spectacle that first captured moviegoers around the world 14 years ago with the original Transformers, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure and introduce the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons.

The film will star ‘In The Heights’ Anthony Ramos and ‘Judas and the Black Messiah’ actress Dominique Fishback.

Directed by Steven Caple Jr, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Tom DeSanto & Don Murphy, Michael Bay, Mark Vahradian, Duncan Henderson serve as producers.

Steven Spielberg, Brian Goldner, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Brian Oliver, Bradley J. Fischer, Valerii An will serve as executive producers.

The film is set to hit cinemas in the summer of 2022.
