Trance-Teaser-Poster-Vincent-CasselDanny Boyle’s return to the big screen this spring with Trance has been building momentum and anticipation nicely in recent weeks.

We saw an excellent first trailer earlier in the month. And that’s since been followed with the first two teaser posters in a new set, with some great new taglines, adding to the intrigue surrounding the film.

Those first teasers gave us a look at James McAvoy and Rosario Dawson, and now Orange have (somewhat colour-appropriately) debuted the third in the set, with Vincent Cassel buried beneath the circles.

“A fine art auctioneer mixed up with a gang joins forces with a hypnotherapist to recover a lost painting. As boundaries between desire, reality and hypnotic suggestion begin to blur the stakes rise faster than anyone could have anticipated.”

McAvoy, Dawson, and Cassel star as the leading trio, with support coming from Tuppence Middleton, Danny Sapani, Lee Nicholas Harris, and Wahab Sheikh.

Boyle is directing from a script co-written by Joe Ahearne (Apparitions) and John Hodge (Trainspotting), partly inspired by Ahearne’s 2001 TV movie of the same name.

Trance will be released in the UK on 27th March, and we can’t wait for it to arrive. Still no word yet on a US release date, but Fox Searchlight have the distribution rights Stateside, and they’re no doubt going to announce the date soon. For now, here’s the latest teaser poster in the set.
