Apple Original Films has released the trailer and key art for its celebrated, award-winning documentary ‘Come See Me in the Good Light,’ a profoundly moving yet unexpectedly funny exploration of love, art, and mortality.
Directed by Ryan White (Good Night Oppy, The Case Against 8), the film follows celebrated poets Andrea Gibson and Megan Falley as they navigate Andrea’s incurable cancer diagnosis with grace, humour, and a fierce devotion to one another. What could have been a story of loss becomes one of transformation — where laughter, poetry, and partnership illuminate the darkest moments with tenderness and courage.
Through White’s intimate direction and the couple’s raw openness, ‘Come See Me in the Good Light’ captures how Gibson and Falley turn pain into purpose, crafting art that celebrates not just the fragility of life, but its stunning resilience. The result is a love story that’s both heartbreaking and life-affirming, blending emotional candour with moments of levity that remind audiences that even in the face of mortality, joy can prevail.
Produced by Jessica Hargrave, Tig Notaro, and Stef Willen, alongside White, the documentary has already been hailed on the festival circuit as an inspiring testament to the human spirit and the power of creative love.
