Few trilogies have maintained the quality and inspired the same level of love and devotion from fans but Pixar’s Toy Story series continues apace with the latest in a number of post-movie projects airing this October.
Following the shorts Hawaiian Vacation, Small Fry and Partysaurus Rex two TV specials have been announced and we have a few new details for Toy Story of Terror which is airing, as you’d expect, at Halloween.
Producer Galyn Susman gave up this information about what we can expect to see,
“Bonnie is on a road trip to go see grandma with her mom and the toys are in the trunk…Mom gets a flat tire and they have to spend the night at a motel and all kinds of chaos ensues.”
She also singles out Jessie as a focus for the 22 minute episode and, in a moment of genius, Carl Weathers has been cast as a Combat Carl, one of whom Toy (his)Storians will know was blown up by Sid in the first film.
