ComingSoon.net have given the world the news that one of my favourite actors, Tom Hanks is confirmed to star in the new Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal movie, Triple Frontier. This will be the first movie that Bigelow and Boal have done since their Oscar success winning the Best Picture title at the 2010 Oscars ripping it from the Navii clutches of her ex-husband James Cameron for the biggest movie of all time, Avatar.

Triple Frontier is an ensemble picture set in the notorious border zone between Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil where the Igazu and Parana rivers converge — making “la triple frontera” difficult to monitor and a haven for organized crime.
According to producer, Charles Roven who gave the news to CS, no one else has been cast as yet but they hope to start shooting in mid-march, 2011. Head over to Coming Soon for the full story.
