Sky Cinema has released the first trailer for its upcoming festive family comedy ‘Tinsel Town,’ giving audiences a heartwarming first look at the Christmas adventure led by Emmy Award winner Kiefer Sutherland and Rebel Wilson. The Sky Original film will arrive just in time for the holidays, premiering on 5th December 2025 on Sky Cinema.
In this merry new tale, Sutherland stars as Bradley Mack, a washed-up Hollywood action hero whose glory days are long behind him. When his career hits rock bottom, Mack reluctantly signs on to play Prince Charming in a small town’s quirky community theatre production of Cinderella. But as snow falls over the picture-perfect village, he finds himself swept up in the warmth and chaos of the locals—each more eccentric than the last.
Among them is the no-nonsense choreographer Jill, played by Rebel Wilson, who has little patience for Mack’s big-city ego. As rehearsals spiral into comedic disaster, Mack learns that Christmas spirit isn’t found in fame or fortune, but in friendship, humility, and second chances.
The all-star ensemble cast includes Katherine Ryan (The Duchess) as Mack’s ever-exasperated agent, alongside beloved British talent Derek Jacobi (Gladiator II), Mawaan Rizwan (Juice), Maria Friedman (Unforgotten), Jason Manford (Waterloo Road), Asim Chaudhry (People Just Do Nothing), Danny Dyer (Rivals), Ray Fearon (Barbie), Alice Eve (Star Trek Into Darkness), Lucien Laviscount (Emily in Paris), and James Lance (Ted Lasso). Meera Syal (The Wheel of Time) steps in as the eccentric director of the town’s production.
The film also features breakout talent Savannah Lee Smith (Cruel Intentions), Theodora Williams making her on-screen debut, Matilda Firth (Wolf Man), and Eden Hamilton (The Railway Children Return).
