The actors made extra special efforts to sign for fans who had braved the brisk winds coming off the Thames, with John Hurt even responding to a ‘behind-the-scenes-suit’ – “No, I’m stating here to do more autographs” when he was ‘invited’ to go inside. Whadaguy!
Less could be said for the print and online pen that was neatly tucked in the back and suffered the greatest of all blows when the stars and production crew didn’t make it to the pen before organisers called ‘time’ and brought everyone inside.
However, our bosom buddies over at Upbeat did manage to catch ‘The Greatest Actor to Never Win an Academy Award’ before everyone was ushered off to start the show.
