To mark the release of Tin Soldier, we spoke to its leading man Scott Eastwood, who tells us all about working alongside legends like Jamie Foxx, Robert De Niro and John Leguizamo, to the intense preparation behind some of the film’s most pivotal scenes.
In this interview, Scott shares with us why the story of Tin Soldier is more than just action & elaborates on the theme of preparation and character work & how that fuelled his emotional performances with De Niro. Growing up around film sets (his father is pretty well-known), he tells us. how that shaped his craft and work ethic while we couldn’t help but ask about enjoying his father’s work, & whether he can get lost in the stories, or does he just see his dad.
