Netflix can’t seem to put a foot wrong at present, generating so much excitement with every passing project. Their latest original series is Godless, helmed by Logan writer Scott Frank, and starring the likes of Jeff Daniels, Michelle Dockery and Jack O’Connell. Another name to add to the illustrious list is Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and we had the pleasure of meeting the man himself to discuss his role in this compelling period drama.

Brodie-Sangster plays Deputy Sheriff Whitey Winn – and we asked him about what attracted him to the project, and asked him to describe how he fits into the narrative. He also discusses the joy in performing in a setting so inherently steeped in cinematic tradition. He talks about the success rate of Netflix, and on his forthcoming turn in the third instalment in The Maze Runner franchise.

Naturally, we couldn’t help but ask briefly about the recent Love Actually reunion, and on his experiences in Star Wars following his performance in The Force Awakens, as he admits to going full on fanboy on the set. And we discuss Game of Thrones, and turns out, Brodie-Sangster has some catching up to do…
