Fans finally have their first look at ‘The Witcher’ Season 4 — and a release date. During the blockbuster Canelo vs. Crawford fight, Liam Hemsworth, who takes over the role of Geralt of Rivia, surprised audiences with an exclusive clip and confirmed that the new season will launch globally on Netflix on October 30, 2025.

Appearing via a pre-recorded message, Hemsworth told viewers:
“Hey everyone, Liam Hemsworth here. I am excited to announce that Season 4 of The Witcher will be streaming on Netflix, October 30th. Here is a quick clip of me in action as Geralt of Rivia.”

What to Expect in Season 4

Following the Continent-altering fallout of Season 3, the upcoming season will see Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri scattered by a raging war and besieged by countless enemies. As their paths diverge, each character’s goals sharpen — and unexpected allies emerge. With new bonds forged and old loyalties tested, the trio may just have a chance at reuniting, if they can learn to embrace the “found families” they encounter along the way.

The eight-episode season is helmed by series creator, showrunner, and executive producer Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, continuing Netflix’s epic adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s beloved fantasy saga.
