Universal Pictures has unveiled the final trailer for ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ to celebrate the annual fan-favourite gaming holiday Mario Day (Mar10). Alongside the cosmic new look at the upcoming animated adventure, several exciting additions to the already star-studded voice cast were also revealed.

Joining the film are Donald Glover as the beloved dinosaur companion Yoshi, Luis Guzmán as the villainous Wart, and Issa Rae as the regal Honey Queen.

The animated spectacle continues the momentum of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which became a global phenomenon upon release in 2023, grossing more than $1.3 billion worldwide and cementing Nintendo’s iconic plumber as a dominant force on the big screen.

Directors Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic return to helm the new chapter, working from a screenplay by returning writer Matthew Fogel. The voice cast includes Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Benny Safdie, Kevin Michael Richardson, Brie Larson, Donald Glover, Luis Guzman and Issa Rae.
