Sony Pictures UK has released a new trailer for ‘The Sheep Detectives,’ a witty new breed of mystery that proves you shouldn’t underestimate sheep—or their detective skills. Directed by Kyle Balda, the film promises a delightful blend of humour, intrigue, and star-studded performances.
In the film, George (Hugh Jackman) is a devoted shepherd who reads detective novels to his flock every night, confident they can’t possibly understand. But when a mysterious incident disrupts life on the farm, his beloved sheep reveal a hidden talent: crime-solving. Following the clues and interrogating human suspects, these clever sheep take matters into their own hooves, showing that even the fluffiest of animals can be brilliant detectives.
The ensemble cast is as impressive as it is diverse, featuring Nicholas Braun, Nicholas Galitzine, Molly Gordon, Hong Chau, Emma Thompson, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bryan Cranston, Chris O’Dowd, Regina Hall, Patrick Stewart, Bella Ramsey, and Brett Goldstein, with Rhys Darby rounding out the line-up.
