Paramount Pictures has dropped the pulse-pounding final trailer for ‘The Running Man,’ the highly anticipated sci-fi thriller from acclaimed director Edgar Wright (Baby Driver, Last Night in Soho).
Set in a near-future society where entertainment has taken a dark turn, The Running Man centres on the world’s most-watched television phenomenon—a brutal survival competition where contestants, known as “Runners,” must evade heavily armed assassins for 30 days. Every moment is broadcast live to a bloodthirsty audience, and with each passing day, the cash prize grows—along with the body count.

Glen Powell stars as Ben Richards, a desperate working-class man who volunteers for the deadly game to save his sick daughter. Lured in by the show’s charismatic yet cutthroat producer Dan Killian (Josh Brolin), Richards soon becomes more than just another contestant. His defiance, resourcefulness, and sheer will to survive transform him into an unlikely hero—and a direct threat to the corrupt system that feeds on the spectacle of human suffering.
As the trailer teases, what begins as a fight for survival escalates into a full-blown rebellion, with Richards turning the hunters’ weapons back on their masters and igniting a spark that could shatter the nation’s obsession with violence and control.
Featuring a powerhouse supporting cast including William H. Macy, Lee Pace, Emilia Jones, Michael Cera, Daniel Ezra, Jayme Lawson, and Colman Domingo, The Running Man promises a thrilling mix of high-octane action, social commentary, and Edgar Wright’s signature kinetic style.
