The official website for Skyline went live yesterday. You may not have heard of this movie before but you might remember the giant banner that Relativity Media and Rogue placed on a hotel at Comic Con this year and Jamie put up the first image from the movie which you can see here.
The official site should hopefully give us some more info on the movie that could be this years District 9. Below is the best description (courtesy of IMDb) of what we can expect.
After a late night party, a group of friends are awoken in the dead of the night by an eerie light beaming through the window. Like moths to a flame, the light source is drawing people outside before they suddenly vanish into the air. They soon discover an otherwordly force is swallowing the entire human population off the face of the earth. Now our band of survivors must fight for their lives as the world unravels around them.
Skyline stars Eric Balfour, Scottie Thompson, David Zayas, Donald Faison, Brittany Daniel, Crystal Reed, Neil Hopkins and is co-directed by brothers, Colin Strause and Greg Strause. It’s scheduled for release November 12, 2010.
