George Clooney and his star studded cast made it to London this evening to unveil his latest project – The Monuments Men.
Based on the true story of a band of soldiers given the unusual task by FDR to rescue the collection of art treasures stolen as the Nazi juggernaut rolled across Europe during The Second World War, Clooney directs his fifth film as well as stars.
Following a candid and, at times, enlightening press conference this afternoon Clooney and his co-stars sat alongside one of the surviving Monuments Men and there has been much discussion of balancing the film’s, at times, playful tone with the seriousness of the danger surrounding them.
Our men Colin Hart and Ben Mortimer were on the red carpet this evening to talk Monuments with the Men behind the movie.
