‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’ Heads to IMAX This May
Lucasfilm and Disney premiered the Big Game spot for Jon Favreau’s “Star Wars” feature ‘The Mandalorian & Grogu.’
Originally conceived as a fourth season of the hit Disney+ series, the project was reshaped into a theatrical film following the 2023 strikes. Pedro Pascal reprises his role as Din Djarin, joined by Sigourney Weaver as Ward, a veteran Rebel Alliance pilot turned New Republic colonel leading the Adelphi Rangers.
The cast also includes Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt, son of Jabba the Hutt, and Jonny Coyne as a warlord controlling remnants of the Empire.
Shot at least partially for IMAX, “The Mandalorian & Grogu” arrives in cinemas on May 22.
Spielberg Returns With UFO Thriller ‘Disclosure Day’
Universal Pictures debuted a new Big Game spot for Steven Spielberg’s UFO drama ‘Disclosure Day,’ marking the director’s first feature since ‘The Fabelmans’ in 2022.
The film stars Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo, and Wyatt Russell. The story imagines a world on the brink of confirmed extraterrestrial contact, asking: If you found out we weren’t alone, would it frighten you?

The ensemble cast includes Scott Caan, Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino, Holt McCallany, Corey Fogelmanis, JB Tadena, Peter Weller, and Timothy Olyphant.
