Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer for the second season of its global hit drama ‘The Last Thing He Told Me,’ teasing a tense and emotionally charged return for the acclaimed series. Starring and executive produced by Jennifer Garner, the new season premieres Friday, February 20, 2026.

Based on Laura Dave’s instant New York Times bestselling sequel novel, ‘The First Time I Saw Him,’ season two picks up with a seismic shift. After five years on the run, Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) suddenly reappears, sending shockwaves through the fragile lives that Hannah (Garner) and her stepdaughter, Bailey (Angourie Rice), have fought to rebuild. The trailer hints at a breathless race against time as the trio attempts to reunite their family, all while the secrets of the past circle closer, sharper, and far more dangerous than before.

Season two is executive produced by co-showrunners Josh Singer and Aaron Zelman, alongside Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine. The returning and newly announced cast includes Augusto Aguilera, Josh Hamilton, Nick Hargrove, Michael Galante, John Noble, Michael Hyatt, and Luke Kirby.
