To celebrate the release of the second season of the acclaimed Apple TV thriller series The Last Thing He Told Me, we had the pleasure of chatting with some of the cast of the show and finding out why the sophomore season is even better.

In season two of “The Last Thing He Told Me,” when Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) shows up after five years on the run, Hannah (Garner) and her stepdaughter Bailey (Rice) find themselves in a race to figure out how to reunite their family before the past catches up to them. The gripping second season also welcomes new and returning cast members Judy Greer, Augusto Aguilera, Josh Hamilton, Nick Hargrove, Michael Galante, John Noble, Michael Hyatt and Luke Kirby.

Chatting to Rice (Bailey) and Greer (Quinn Favreau), we talk about the time jump in the series, how the stakes have been raised and what questions will and won’t be answered. Rice talks about where Bailey is now and how she has matured through the years since series one, whilst Greer talks about joining the cast, reuniting with 13 Going On 30 co-star Jennifer Garner and why the lure of playing a mob boss’s daughter was too good to turn down.
