You’ll probably know Sharlto Copley best for his work on District 9 or The A-Team where he played Howling Mad Murdock. We got to chat with him back then and it was a pleasure to catch up with him once again at the Summer of Sony junket in Cancun, Mexico for his new movie, Elysium. Elysium is directed by his long-time friend Neill Blomkamp who also wrote and directed District 9. In the interview, we get to hear from Sharlto what it was like reuniting with Neill, how they’ve both changed and what it was like to play the bad-guy.
We also find out how Neill took to working with Matt Damon and Jodie Foster and how he asked Copley to tone down the ad-lib although from the sounds of it that didn’t last long!
