Earlier today we had our interview with Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton on their roles as the lead characters in Paramount’s new movie Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. Now we get to hear from one of the lead baddies in the form of Famke Janssen who plays Muriel (one of the witches).
Famke Janssen has previously played roles in the X-Men movies and is no stranger to the action genre but this role sounds a little different in that she had to be completely made up in various costumes including undergoing hours worth of make-up every day when she was in character as a witch and the prosthetics that she had to wear. She talks about acting with the prosthetics, how far to take the role and what it was that she loved about playing the role as Muriel.
