Sony Pictures has unleashed a brand new international trailer and poster for the latest on the Lisbeth Salander series – The Girl in the Spider’s Web.
Based on the novel of the same name by David Lagercrantz, Foy takes over the role of the Swedish computer hacker, Lisbeth Salander, from Rooney Mara who played the role in 2011’s The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
Lisbeth Salander, the cult figure and title character of the acclaimed Millennium book series created by Stieg Larsson, will return to the screen in The Girl in the Spider’s Web, a first-time adaptation of the recent global bestseller.
Directed by Don’t Breathe’s Fede Alvarez, the cast includes Claire Foy, Claes Bang, Sylvia Hoeks, Cameron Britton, Lakeith Stanfield, Stephen Merchant, Synnøve Macody Lund, Vicky Krieps and Andreja Pejić. Alvarez began shooting in Berlin in January.
