“Flow with my movement, connect to the energy!” and “Your focus, needs more focus”, just two of the lines that could well become as classic as “Wax on, wax off” when the new The Karate Kid movie is released. The original Karate Kid holds a special place in my heart as it’s one of my childhood movies, much like The Goonies or Back to the Future. I was rather worried that they would completely wreck this movie as a remake but the trailer we saw a while back, gave us hope!
The Karate Kid stars Jaden Smith as Dre, Jackie Chan as Mr Han and is directed by Harald Zwart.
