Warner Bros. have confirmed today the the next trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live this coming Wednesday, and to whet our appetites in the meantime, they’ve released a very cool trailer teaser.
In what is more than likely a nightmare sequence of some sort, a villainous looking Superman (flanked by soldiers who are wearing his insignia) can be seen approaching a chained up Batman – who looks terrified – and unmasking him to reveal Bruce Wayne’s face.
The synopsis for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice reveals that, “Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.”
